Mobile Sports Facility – Rolling Base Max Client: Barnet Community Transport (BCT) Design Brief: To design an attractive and practical storage facility that also can be used as a training vehicle to encourage and develop a wide range of ‘Sports’ activities and sporting education for the ‘teenage’ market. To build on the success of the RollingBase brand that young people within the Borough of Barnet already identify with. Specification: Storage facilities for sports equipment, P.A System, seating area, roof rack for outside storage, an awning to be used as an outside space, T.V moniter. User Group: 1-3 workers 6 Young People (aged 12-18 yrs) on board the bus, but with the capacity to engage groups of young people with the sports equipment outside. Studio Seven: We provided a full design service producing visualisations, layouts and graphics direct to specification to ensure that the vehicle met the needs of the client practically and aesthetically. We supplied a LDV MAXUS vehicle and it was converted to meet their specific requirements. We designed graphic imagery for the outside that would tie it to the Rolling Base brand that we had previously designed and converted. Secure durable metal lockers were installed and a wooden bench for seating to give the vehicle a ‘Surfers Beach Hut’ feel. An awning was installed for additional working space outside together with a PA system which will enable music to used in sporting activities.
